SULHAMSTEAD KENNET & AVON CANAL,BERKSHIRE RG7 4BS

Access: We share this fishery with CALPAC, it is situated south of the A4 Newbury to Reading Road, approximately halfway between the Aldermaston and M4 junction roundabouts. Take the side road to Sulhamstead Cross from the A4 over 3 bridges and then turn right into the public car park Parking is available in the public car park only, there is a 6ft 6in (2m) height restriction across the entrance. To reach the fishery, cross the road and follow the towpath past Canal

Cottage. The fishery starts after the first gate and follows the River Kennet for about 800 yards Shortly after the second gate the river drops over a weir from here the fishery extends about another 700 yards along the canal to the boundary board past the lock, where the river rejoins the watercourse. You may fish both banks of the canal, access to the far bank being by way of the swing bridge

Species: Chub, Barbel, Roach, Dace, Bream, Perch, Pike, Tench and the occasional Carp and Trout.
